Terms of Service & Service Agreement
Last updated: June 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of strikedetail.com and the mobile car detailing services provided by Strike Detail (“Strike Detail,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in the Flower Mound and greater Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas area. By booking an appointment, using our website, or messaging us, you (“you,” the “Customer”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Services
Strike Detail provides mobile car detailing at a location you designate. Specific services, inclusions, and prices are described on our website and may be updated at any time. We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, or stop any service at our discretion, including where conditions are unsafe, the vehicle’s condition exceeds the quoted scope, or required access, water, or power is unavailable.
2. Quotes, Booking & Vehicle Information
Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may change if the vehicle’s size, type, or condition differs from what was described (e.g., excessive dirt, pet hair, stains, mold, biohazards, or oversized vehicles). We will inform you of any price change before performing additional work where reasonably possible. You are responsible for providing accurate vehicle and location details.
3. Payment & Card Authorization
By booking, you authorize Strike Detail to place a hold (pre-authorization) on your payment card and to capture (charge) the final service amount after the service is completed. Add-ons, travel fees, and condition-based adjustments may apply. All sales are final once service is rendered. Declined or disputed payments may result in collection efforts and suspension of future service.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
- Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- No-shows, lack of vehicle access at the scheduled time, or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee of up to the full service price.
- We may reschedule due to weather, equipment issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from rescheduling.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Remove all personal items and valuables from the vehicle before service. We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal property, cash, electronics, or items left in the vehicle.
- Provide safe, legal access to the vehicle and, where required, access to water and/or a power outlet. You confirm you are the owner or are authorized to arrange detailing for the vehicle.
- Disclose known issues such as leaks, electrical faults, aftermarket modifications, loose or damaged trim, wraps, paint protection film, or sensitive components before service.
6. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
Vehicles often have pre-existing conditions that are not always visible before cleaning, including but not limited to: paint defects, swirl marks, oxidation, scratches, chips, dents, rust, fading, clear-coat failure, water spots, worn or loose trim, cracked plastics, stained or worn upholstery, faulty electronics, leaks, and prior or improper repairs. Strike Detail is not responsible for pre-existing damage or for conditions revealed, loosened, or made more apparent by normal cleaning. Detailing may expose flaws previously hidden by dirt; this is not damage caused by us. Results vary by vehicle age, condition, and materials, and specific outcomes are not guaranteed.
7. Damage Claims
Any claim of damage allegedly caused by our service must be reported to us in writing (info@strikedetail.com) within 24 hours of service completion, with clear photos and a description, and before any further cleaning, repair, or alteration of the affected area. We must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle. Claims not reported within this window are waived. Our maximum liability for any verified claim is limited as set out in Section 9.
8. Satisfaction
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not satisfied with a specific area of the completed work, notify us within 24 hours and we may, at our discretion, return to re-address that area. This re-service remedy is your sole and exclusive remedy for service quality concerns and is offered in lieu of refunds.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant any specific result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strike Detail’s total liability arising out of or relating to any service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific service. In no event shall Strike Detail be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of value, or lost profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Strike Detail and its owner, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of vehicle ownership or condition, or your failure to remove personal property.
11. Photography & Marketing
We may photograph or video vehicles before, during, and after service for quality and marketing purposes. These media will not include personal identifiers such as license plates where reasonably avoidable. If you do not want your vehicle featured, notify us in writing before service and we will honor your request.
12. Assumption of Risk
Detailing involves the use of water, chemicals, brushes, and machinery on vehicles of varying age and condition. You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with these processes, particularly on older, modified, damaged, or poorly maintained vehicles, and you authorize us to proceed with the requested service.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute shall be the state or federal courts located in Denton County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises. The prevailing party in any dispute may recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
14. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Strike Detail regarding our services and supersede any prior understandings.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version in effect when you book applies to that service. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
